Mike Poole was a sketch writer for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” for seasons 7 and 8. He contributed to monologue bits, sketches, guest games, parody songs, and recurring segments.

He created, wrote, and or produced multiple recurring guest games and segments. Such as “Guess the Impression”, “Like Follow Block”, and “Life Coach”.

He also produced a number of classic Tonight Show bits such as “#Hashtags” and “12 Days of Christmas Sweaters”, as well as newer ones such as “Let’s Get Sirious”, and “Republican Excuse Generator”.

 

Created, wrote, and produced the recurring segment “Guess the Impression”. Segments included Shaquille O’Neal, Nick Kroll, and Sarah Paulson.

Conceived, wrote, and produced “Like Follow Block”, a recurring segment that featured Maisie Williams and Jamie Dornan.

Wrote and produced “30 Seconds to… Rematch” Starring Jarred Leto.

Conceived, wrote, and produced this “Friday I’m in Love” parody song that aired 11/6/20. As seen in on NME .

 

Mike Poole was a staff writer for season 2 of “The Amber Ruffin Show”. Often contributing sketches, monologue jokes, songs and occasionally appearing on camera.

He wrote bits such as Roasting Billionaires, Rat Tail Mike, Amber’s Sand Man, and more.

He appeared on screen as “Piece of S*** Cousin Mike”, Rattail Mike, A Karenette Cheerleader, and “Crew Member”.
